Health is a broad term that can mean many things to many different people. What might be an important area of health for me might not be a priority to someone else. I am working daily to maintain a healthy outlook on life and positively manage stress.
When I am feeling healthy, I can be more productive and creative in all areas of my life. Additionally, I am working on prioritizing my health because I know that when my body is strong and healthy, I can better manage stress and other demands in my life.
Today, I want to share the areas of health that I am working on daily and how I implement them. Also, I’ll touch on how each area of my health plays a role in connecting with something larger than myself and discovering what brings positivity and purpose to my life.
Here are three reasons why you should listen to the complete episode:

Where progress has been made
Finding a therapist that embraces you and makes you feel comfortable.
The is power in laughter for your mental health.
Gratitude journaling, practicing self-care, and being creative are three other activities that help my mental and emotional health.
Practicing self-care
I have no problem setting boundaries with my family to protect my health.
It is a big deal for me to fill a creative void once a week.
Other forms of self-care come with taking alone time.
Social Health
There have been times that being an introvert was mistaken as me being a snob.
I had to set goals of speaking to strangers and getting out in my community.
I am now able to speak to strangers and my audience each week, which I wouldn’t have been able to do at the beginning of my journey.
Taking action
Ten years ago, I decided to become more involved with my community.
When I became engaged with my community, I learned how communities thrive.
My involvement with the community also helped me build strong relationships.
