Have you ever wondered why you keep falling into the same painful patterns, no matter how much self-work you do?
This week on Hard Beautiful Journey, I had the honor of sitting down with Rapid Transformational Therapist Kate Semeniuk, who helps people rewire subconscious beliefs that were formed in childhood—but still run the show today. If you’ve ever said “my anxiety” or “my depression,” you have to hear this episode. Because Kate’s work proves that real, lasting change is possible when we get to the root.
Kate’s healing journey began in 2020, during the quiet and isolation of the pandemic. While everything looked fine on the outside—a loving husband, two beautiful children—she couldn’t shake the feeling that something inside was still broken. That realization sparked a powerful truth: healing had to begin within. And not long after, her purpose—to help others find that same truth—became undeniable.
From ages 2 to 7, our brains are little sponges—absorbing everything, even trauma and pain, without the language to explain it. Kate explains that this is when most of our core beliefs form: “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not safe,” “I’m unworthy.” These beliefs shape how we respond to love, conflict, success, and even our own bodies. Unless we revisit and heal those root moments, we keep living them out—over and over again.
A session with Kate starts with a problem—but quickly dives deep. Using Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), she guides clients into a light, meditative state, where they access subconscious memories that formed their beliefs. Then the real work begins: connecting the dots between then and now, and rewiring the belief to reflect the present reality.
Each session ends with a personalized self-hypnosis recording that clients listen to daily for 21 to 30 days, helping their nervous system integrate the shift. This isn’t just about having insights—it’s about creating real, lasting change.
One of the most powerful moments of this conversation was when Kate talked about how important our language is in healing. When we say things like “my anxiety,” “my trauma,” or “my depression,” our subconscious takes ownership of it. It believes it belongs to us.
Kate said something that truly cracked me open:
“Don’t own the things you don’t want to keep.”
Simple, but game-changing. What we say after “I am” and “my” literally shapes our identity. Language becomes a healing tool when we use it with intention.
Kate’s approach is rooted in love and truth—even when it means facing pain. She believes we can turn post-traumatic stress into post-traumatic growth.
Many of her clients discover, often for the first time, that they’ve already taken their pain and turned it into something beautiful. As Kate puts it:
“You didn’t repeat what was done to you. You turned it into love.”
And that, to me, is the heartbeat of this episode.
Curious if RTT is right for you? Kate encourages anyone beginning their healing to just start exploring. Watch RTT videos, follow her content, and most importantly—trust yourself.
If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck, RTT might be the path that brings you home.
As Kate reminds us:
“We can’t buy yesterday or tomorrow. But we can take care of today—and that’s how we change everything.”
