One of my goals for 2021 (in addition to learning how to play the drums) is to start public speaking. For that reason, I’m excited to introduce today’s guest, Tyler Foley.
Tyler is a speaker, actor, entrepreneur, and professional storyteller passionate about helping others confidently take the stage and make an impact with their stories. Tyler is here to help not only me but you, to lose the fear and start sharing our message. In addition to Tyler’s story, we also discuss the best tips and tools to achieve confidence and overcome public speaking without being a bundle of nerves.
“What you’re afraid to say, your audience needs to hear.”
Tyler grew up with confidence and was fearless of being who he was. His bold personality led him to become a stage performer. At the age of 14, after experiencing his first stage fright, Tyler reveals how he allowed his fears to play a trick on him. This fear consumed him and left him speechless during a performance, but alas, it would be a fear that he would eventually overcome.
After performing in numerous films (one being his favorite Door to Door), Tyler retired from acting to study geomatics engineering. Six years Tyler continues to give speeches and shows no signs of stopping; he truly has a gift.
